This program is currently supported on x86_64 Debian distros such as Ubuntu.
Bib is a bible study app for console only and uses keyboard input to get to the verse you want with context setting of verses before and after.
You may use 'sudo dpkg -i bib.deb' or your gui package manager to install on your system. The program does require an indexed text file containing the Bible translation of your choice . So far I have only found the Youngs translation that works with complete compatibility with Bib.
This is my very first deb packaging.
To install on your Debian based Linux distro:
